ANATOLY KARPOV TEACHES WITH PAUL MORPHY
For this new publication,
liked me the next game, taken from the book "Find the right
plan" whose authors are Anatoly Karpov and Anatoly Matsukevich
(Batsford Chess, 2008). To my surprise, the authors analyze several
Paul Morphy's games and the concept that the American genius had
about time in chess, and the technique of attack with pawns and
pieces. The authors say: "In chess, as in life, a plan is a
general concept that unifies a series of moves and actions directed
towards achieving the main aim. As Emmanuel Lasker justifiably
remarked, it's better to play according to a flawed plan, than with
no plan at all"
